My Setup

Using these filters has noticeably sped up my workflow, whether I’m shooting independently or working as a documentarian. The magnetic system minimizes downtime and keeps my focus on the shot rather than the setup.
The included case is a welcome bonus. It’s compact, protective, and does an excellent job of keeping the filters organized and safe from damage during transport.

While using the filters, there were moments when I needed to increase the ISO and make adjustments to the shutter speed to maintain proper exposure. I tested this workflow using Auto ISO on my Canon camera, while manually controlling the shutter speed and monitoring the exposure value (EV) to ensure accurate exposure.
This approach allowed me to stay responsive to changing light conditions while still maintaining creative control over the final image.
I continuously pushed these filters to their limits by shooting during harsh noon conditions, when the sun is high and unforgiving. Even under this intense light, I was actively looking for flaws. The image referenced below demonstrates excellent detail when using the UV/CPL combined with the 3-stop ND filter.
For this shot, my settings were ISO 640, f/3.5, and 1/400 shutter speed, and I composed tightly to fully utilize the sensor without wasting pixels. Most importantly, I shoot exclusively in manual focus, which allows me to maintain complete control over sharpness and framing.
The coatings on each filter appear to be applied in multiple layers, and this attention to detail shows in real-world use. The filters are extremely lightweight, yet the AGC optical glass is durable enough to withstand light scratches or occasional abuse. That said, I strongly recommend using the included protective case to keep the filters safe when not in use.
For maintenance, I only use professional-grade microfiber cloths, along with a Maven cleaning brush or rocket blower. One standout feature is the hydrophobic coating, which causes water droplets to bead up and repel off the surface with ease.
After extended use, I’ve personally never removed the magnetic ring, UV filter, or filter cap from my primary lens. Even while stored inside my Tenba Axis 32L camera backpack, the filters never loosened, shifted, or showed any signs of weakness in performances. w
